Frostburg State Club Sports

Frostburg State’s Club Sports offer students the opportunity to pursue activities not represented by the varsity sports program. Whether you are interested in learning a new sport or developing your skills, club sports offer a varied and unique athletic and social experience to FSU students.

A club sport is a registered student organization formed by the individuals with a common interest in the sport. A club sport’s primary goal is to promote and develop interest in that particular sport. Club sports compete against other club sports from neighboring universities and colleges. Clubs may be instructional, recreational or as competitive as the members wish.

If you enjoy playing hard, getting involved and meeting athletes from other colleges, club sports may be for you. They are self-organized and run mostly from the club dues, fundraising and with the support of the Intramural/Club Department.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All currently enrolled FSU students, faculty and staff are eligible and encouraged to participate in the club sport programs.

If you are interested in forming a new club sport, please schedule a meeting with the club sport office, Cordts PE 177.
